It's the simple things...

I saw this today on Pinterest and my GOD it made my little heart race! I don't know if I should be ashamed by this, but I decided to share it anyway! Folding them awful fitted sheets just got easier! Organisation sado anyone? OCD for sure!

1. With the sheet inside out, place one hand in each of two adjacent corners.

2. Bring your right hand to your left, and fold the corner in your right hand over the one in your left, so the corner on top is right side out. Next, reach down and pick up the corner that is adjacent to the one that was in your right hand (it will be hanging in front), and fold it over the other two; this third corner will be inside out.

3. Bring the last corner up, and fold it over the others so it is right side out.

4. Lay the sheet flat, and straighten it into the shape shown above.

5. Fold the two edges in, folding the edge with elastic in first, so all elastic is hidden.

6. Fold the strip into a smaller rectangle.

7. Continue folding until rectangle is the size you want.

Also on a little side note (i.e. shameless plugs!) my housemate is running a 2 day dance event for FREE in London on the 14th & 15th of July. If you fancy some free classes, get involved! More information can be found on the Just Dance 2012 website http://justdance2012.co.uk/ and on Facebook.

AND my lovely best friend has a new video up! Honestly, cannot tell you how proud I am of him! Please do give it a watch, like, subscribe and a follow on his Twitter, Youtube and Facebook :-)

Today I am applying for jobs and also waiting on a delivery. I just love 'we will deliver your order between 7am and 5.30pm' times! I could be in ALL DAY! I'll get cabin fever! On a plus, it might produce a few more blog posts!

Happy Monday peeps!

  2. you came back!!! I don't even iron sheets, let alone attempt to even fold them neatly!
I hope whatever it was arrived by at least lunchtime so you could at least have an afternoon without clock watching!

  4. Thank you for sharing this. I always think to myself when folding my sheets - there must be an easier way. I just get in such a tangle on my own and end up just half-heartedly folding it and shoving it away, thinking only I sleep on it so who cares. Now I'll be an expert (; xx

  5. @PenguinsandCows I am determined to have perfectly folded sheets! I can see a lot of spare time being put into this.... :-/ haha! If you're in L-Town DEFFO join the classes! Primrose bakery are also supplying the free cakes too! Extra bonus! X

@Belle du Brighton I don't usually iron them either... i've been living in luxury back home so my mum was laundry service... now i'm back on my own again, I have big plans for the sheets but no doubt they'll end up on the bed creased! X

@Roza Fitted bed sheets are such a pain in the arse!! X

@life in the wendy house Let's become folding experts! I'm not great at origami though so I don't hold out much hope for the sheets! :-s X
