Book Lust: April

Honestly, I frickin' LOVE books. Last night I couldn't resist ordering myself a couple that i'm looking forward to receiving next week. Once i've got them i'll put up some reviews. I still have quite a few craft books to review as well so maybe that should be a little Sunday project. These are the 2 I purchased...

There are 2 more books which i'm fighting the urge to buy (I have to pace myself right?) so I thought I would share them with you too!

The first is The Little Paris Kitchen by Rachel Khoo. I've been watching her cooking series on BBC iPlayer (you can watch it HERE) and I love her & I love everything she's cooked. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the book to accompany the show because everything looks so delicious! (With the exception of steak tartar... i've tried it once and the thought makes me go green!)

The second book which is available for pre order is Decorating Cookies by Bridget Edwards.

This has to be the book that i'm SO excited to own as I am a huge fan of her truly amazing blog Bake at 350. Her cookies send my heart racing and her blog fills me with both excitement and frustration, usually because it's 1am and i'm browsing it and want to get up and start baking and icing cookies! I. NEED. THIS. BOOK.

Totally un-book related, but too good not to share, is this vase I want, £38, from Anthropologie. It was L.O.V.E. at first sight! You can only get it on pre-order until late June so I think it'll need to go on the birthday wish list!

I apologise for the lack of posts as of late, life took over and I got out of the swing of things. I've also been so consumed by cookies that I haven't been doing much crafting either but, i'm slowly starting to plan out some new blog posts! Whoop!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  1. Beautiful books! Can't wait to see what they inspire you to make :) ele x

  2. Love that vase!! You NEED that.

  3. They all look fab and very inspiring!

  4. Hi sweet lady! I found your blog via oh, hello friend, and am SO GLAD that I did! I'm your newest follower! xoxo

  5. I know this isn't quite relevant to the books you've posted in this post, but I thought it would be something you'd like!
If you google 'wreck this journal flickr' you can see all sorts of examples of what people have done with them. Basically every page has an instruction on that you can interpret however you want. I thought after your post on smash books, it might be something you'd be interested in!

  6. Oh my gosh! You are so sweet! I think you are one of the first to see it available for pre-order! :)

PS...I *so* want that vase from Anthropologie as well!!! ;)

    Happy baking!
